Westlife - You Raise Me Up Lyrics
Originally recorded by Norway’s 1995 Eurovision winners Secret Garden for their 2001 album Once in a Red Moon. After Josh Groban performed the song at the 38th Super Bowl (2004), Westlife chose to record a version of the song for their much-anticipated 2005 comeback as a four-piece. Their version topped the singles charts of UK and Ireland, and was successful across Europe too.
You Raise Me Up Lyrics In English
When I am down and oh my soul so weary
When troubles come and my heart burdened be
Then I am still and wait here in the silence
Until you come and sit a while with me
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up, to more than I can be
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up, to more than I can be
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains (Stand on mountains)
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas (Stormy seas)
I am strong (I am strong), when I am on your shoulders (I am strong)
You raise me up, to more than I can be
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains (Stand on mountains)
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas (Stormy seas)
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up, to more than I can be
You raise me up, to more than I can be
You raise me up... to more than I can be
